Cordova English Language Club The Resolution On the eve of English Language Carnival, a general meeting was held at Cordova Premises along with the presence of the members of the committee. After analysing the points and the counterpoints the committee decides on the following issues
There will be five (5) groups for the participants.

a. Students from STD I Group One
b. Students from STD II – STD III Group Two
c. Students from STD IV- STD V Group Three
d. Students from STD VI – STD VII Group Four
e. Students from IGCSE I – IGCSE II Group Five

Syllabus for the Carnival

Event	Syllabus
English Olympiad	The English Language and Literature syllabus for the upcoming Half Yearly or Final Exam. No external sources will be selected for the Carnival
Spell Master	Words will be selected from the Half Yearly ( for July Session) and the Final Examination ( for January Session) syllabus of English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography. A set of words will be supplied by the class teacher.
Book Based Quiz	Short Questions will be selected from the Half Yearly ( for July Session) and the Final Examination ( for January Session) syllabus of English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography. A written instruction will be supplied by the class teacher.
Instant Story Writing	Based on the Half Yearly( for July Session) and the Final Examination ( for January Session) syllabus of English Language.
Turn Coat	A set of questions will be provided by the teachers and the students will be trained by the teachers as well as their mentors.
Extempore Speech	A set of questions will be provided by the teachers and the students will be trained by the teachers as well as their mentors.
